The highly anticipated move is set to take place on Saturday, June 29, 2024, during the sitting of the Council, the institution’s supreme legislative body.

Constantine Okwi, the ICU information minister, confirmed the upcoming reshuffle, stating that the reigning Emorimor Papa Iteso aims to strengthen the union by bringing in fresh perspectives and expertise.

The Emorimor will also announce a budget worth Shs19bn and appoint Andrew Ocole as the acting Prime Minister following the resignation of the late Papa Vance Omome on November 23, 2023.

As the ICU faces challenges and opportunities, the Emorimor’s strategic cabinet reshuffle demonstrates his commitment to fostering a robust and united leadership.

With a diverse team of individuals poised to take on new roles, the reshuffle is expected to have far-reaching effects on the ICU’s various organs, including the Ere Iteso Construction Committee and the Secretariat.

The Iteso community eagerly awaits the Emorimor’s announcement and the presentation of the Shs19bn budget, as these critical events will undoubtedly shape the future direction of the ICU.

With a focus on collaboration and progress, the Emorimor’s strategic move has the potential to usher in a new era of prosperity and unity for the Iteso people.
