APR FC Strengthens Attack with Ugandan Stars Omedi and Kiwanuka

Kigali, Rwanda – APR FC has made a strategic move to bolster their offensive lineup by signing two talented Ugandan forwards, Denis Omedi and Hakim Kiwanuka.

The duo, who join from Kitara FC and SC Villa, have put pen to paper on two-year contracts, further solidifying APR FC’s ambitions for the 2024 season.

Omedi, renowned for his prolific goal-scoring abilities and a Puskas Award-nominated strike against KCCA FC, is expected to make an immediate impact.

Kiwanuka, a versatile forward, will bring experience and dynamism to the club’s attacking force.

The signings reunite Omedi and Kiwanuka with Uganda Cranes international Taddeo Lwanga at APR FC, strengthening the club’s Ugandan contingent.

However, their move to the Rwandan club may mean they miss out on representing Uganda in the upcoming CHAN 2024 tournament, despite their earlier inclusion in the provisional squad.

Both players were present for APR FC’s thrilling 2-1 win over Marines in the Rwandan Premier League, marking an exciting new chapter in their careers.
