Alebtong, Uganda — Over 1,000 students from seven schools in Alebtong District have completed intensive patriotism training led by Deputy Resident District Commissioner (D/RDC) Mathias Lutwama.

Between April 9 and 15, Lutwama delivered focused lectures aligned with Chapter 29 of the Constitution, aimed at building a patriotic and ideologically grounded generation.
1. At Awei Seed Secondary School, students studied State Formation as the backbone of national identity.
2. At Apala Secondary, they explored Nation Building and Civic Duty.
3. Amugu Agro Technical Institute examined Uganda’s Political Economy through a patriotic lens.
4. At Angetta Seed Secondary, the spotlight was on Strategic Thinking for Modern Patriots.
5. Aloi Secondary School tackled Ideological Clarity and Patriotism.
6. Amugu Community Technical Institute engaged with Globalization and National Interest.
7. At Akura Secondary School, students traced Uganda’s History to inspire future patriotic leadership.
“These students are now mentally prepared and ideologically aligned to serve their country with loyalty and purpose,” Lutwama stated.
The initiative marks a renewed push by government to instill patriotic values in the youth as key drivers of Uganda’s transformation agenda.
