Owing to the new glorious times, per the sanctified agenda of His Excellency President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, that is transiting Uganda from a class of peasantry to a middle income economy, the Northern Uganda Social Action Fund 4 program, will aid Uganda’s economy as follows;
First, if you belong to the category of youth, with a unction to do business , you will first be trained in micro enterprenuership. You will be guided as well in business mentorship. Premising on the nature of your market skill, you will be then assisted to access money for engagement in a profitable venture. This categorical distinction applies to all the urban and rural youths in Lango, Acholi and karamoja.
Second, if you subscribe, to a group of vulnerable households, like female headed households, pregnant and lactating mothers, you will first be granted nutrition and health safety awareness like antenatal and post natal management lessons at household level. You will then be given cash plus interventions. This will be supplemented with hands-on training in basic and productive work like tailoring, home gardening, etc.
Third, if you have a keen interest in Community based wealth creation, you will be professionally assisted (free of charge) to form developmental groups. In project management, this is called proxy means testing (PMT). You will then be taken through a process of capacity building in line with your business interests, e.g, maize production, fish farming, Rice growing , Cooperative marketing, etc.
Your data as a group will then be punctuated in a social registry. You will then receive business capital to manage your corporate business.
Lest I forget; the one trillion shillings NUSAF program is part of the NRM manifesto schedule 2026 to 2031……..
