Soroti, Uganda | Soroti Catholic Diocese has been plunged into mourning following the sudden passing of Rev. Fr. Joachim Otai, who served as the Assistant Pastor at Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Soroti.
His death was officially announced by the Diocesan Chancellor, Padre Gonzaga Ongereny Waziwazi, in a statement released Tuesday morning.
According to the statement, Rev. Fr. Otai passed away at 8:00 AM, though the cause of death was not immediately disclosed.
