Aguti Donates 12M UGX to St. Paul Chapel, Earns Praise from Christians

Dokolo, Uganda – Dokolo Woman MP Sarah Aguti Nyakori has donated 12 million UGX to St. Paul Catholic Chapel in Okwongodul Sub-county during a fundraising drive held on Sunday.

Aguti stated that the donation was part of her tithe contribution to church construction across Dokolo District.

She emphasized her commitment to supporting faith-based initiatives and improving worship facilities.

Her generosity extends to other churches and community projects.

She has fulfilled pledges such as donating 10 bags of cement to Igar Yahweh Pentecostal Church, 200,000 UGX toward a public address system for Tetugu A Yahweh Church and another 200,000 UGX to St. Mary Chapel in Tetugu.

Additionally, she contributed 10 bags of cement to Ablang Health Centre III to support the construction of a patient kitchen.

Aguti also assured congregants that pending pledges, including painting Ageno COU in Atur and providing 100 plastic chairs for Barayom COU, will be fulfilled by next week.

Robert Dilson Okidi, the organizing committee chairperson for St. Paul Catholic Church, expressed gratitude for the MP’s generous support.

In a symbolic gesture of appreciation, he presented her with a seal representing protection and blessings for her political journey.

Christians Anna Bosco Alyenyo and Denis Okao were overjoyed, describing the donation as historic.

They said no other leader in Dokolo’s political history had made such significant contributions to faith-based projects.

Meanwhile, Dokolo South MP Felix Okot also supported the church during the same fundraiser by contributing 500,000 UGX, two trips of sand, and 20 bags of cement.

Aguti’s continued efforts to invest in community and church development have cemented her reputation as a leader committed to uplifting her constituents.
