Amolatar – Paul Samuel Mbiiwa, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Amolatar District, was arrested on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, by the combined efforts of the Police and the State House Anti-Corruption Unit.
The arrest was made in connection with allegations of corruption and misuse of funds allocated for district road projects, totaling over Shs49 million.
Geoffrey Ocen Kiring, Amolatar District LC5 Chairperson, confirmed the arrest and stated that Mbiiwa has provided a statement at the Amolatar Central Police Station.
