Lira, Uganda | Cambridge City School, Lira has posted an impressive 100 percent pass rate in the 2025 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), according to results released by the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB).
Out of 29 candidates who sat for the examinations, 15 pupils (51.72%) passed in Division One, 12 pupils (41.38%) obtained Division Two, while two candidates (6.90%) attained Division Three. No candidate was graded in Division Four or Ungraded.
Speaking after receiving the results, the Headteacher of the school, Mr. Munu Daniel, attributed the strong performance to teamwork, dedication, and institutional support.

“Our candidates did their best through the dedication of the teachers and the support from the school administration, which yielded the results we received yesterday,” Mr. Munu said.
He further extended gratitude to key stakeholders for their contribution to the school’s consistent academic performance.
“I want to thank God, my dedicated staff, committed learners, and supportive parents for always making us, as a school, remain on the map. We pray for even better results in the years ahead,” he added.
Cambridge City School, Lira has continued to position itself among the leading primary schools in the region, with school management pledging to sustain academic excellence through improved teaching standards and learner support.
