Amolatar, Uganda — In a powerful demonstration of commitment to healthcare, Geoffrey Ocen Kiring, the Amolatar District LCV Chairperson, will hand over three ambulances to the Kioga North Constituency on Saturday, November 23, 2024.

This handover will be officiated by the guest of honour, UPC Party President Hon. Jimmy James Michael Akena Obote. The new ambulances, purchased by Ocen Kiring himself, will enhance emergency response for the area’s rural communities and bring the total ambulances he’s donated to four.

The handover schedule includes:

Awonangiro Health Centre III, Agik Dak Subcounty, at 11:00 am.

Arwotcek Health Centre III, Arwotcek Subcounty, at Arwotcek Primary School, at 1:00 pm.

Anamwany Health Centre III, Awelo Subcounty, at Anamwany Primary School, at 3:00 pm.

All local leaders, MPs, and cultural & religious representatives are invited to witness this transformative healthcare initiative.

Ocen Kiring, widely regarded as a hands-on leader, has won local praise for his dedication to public service, making him a popular figure in Amolatar.

He recently announced he will step down as LCV Chairperson and run for Member of Parliament for Kioga North in the 2026 elections.

Promising to “lead his people out of Egypt to the promised land,” he aims to address pressing community needs and uplift Kioga North, competing against incumbent MP Hon. James Olobo Dubai and other hopefuls like Peter Okodo.

This ambulance handover is expected to boost critical healthcare and symbolize Ocen Kiring’s vision for progress and community well-being, marking a pivotal step in his political journey.
