San Siro, Milan
Inter Milan secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Arsenal at San Siro on Tuesday, with Hakan Calhanoglu’s first-half penalty enough to give the Italian champions all three points.
The win extended Inter’s unbeaten Champions League streak to four matches, moving them up to fifth in the group with 10 points.

The only goal of the match came in the 42nd minute when Calhanoglu converted a penalty after an Arsenal handball inside the box.
Despite Arsenal’s dominance in the second half, which saw them rack up 2.22 expected goals (xG), they couldn’t find an equalizer.
Efforts from Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka, and Gabriel Jesus were all denied by Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer, while the defense—led by Denzel Dumfries, Bisseck, and Stefan de Vrij—held firm.

Arsenal’s defeat marks their first loss in the Champions League this season and their second consecutive defeat after a 1-0 loss to Newcastle in the Premier League.
With just seven points, the Gunners are now in 12th place in the group, outside the automatic qualification spots for the knockout stages.
Inter, on the other hand, continue their solid defensive run, earning their fourth straight clean sheet in the competition.
Their win boosts their hopes of advancing to the next round, with three consecutive victories and 10 points now in the bag.
