The day began with a series of inspiring speeches from various representatives, including students, the school director, and a parent. Kiria Obong Obama, S.1 student, urged parents to enroll their children in the school, emphasizing its high-quality education, highly qualified professional teachers, flexible school fee payment schedules, and commitment to student welfare, including a well-balanced diet.

Apoo Jenifer, S.5 student and Head Girl, expressed profound gratitude to parents for their unwavering support and applauded the dedication of teachers, the administration, and fellow students in striving for academic excellence. She proudly stated that Lira City Comprehensive Secondary School is one of the best in Northern Uganda, a testament to the collective hard work and commitment of the entire school community.

Director Okello Denis Johnson provided a detailed overview of the school’s journey and future aspirations. He shared that the school was established to elevate the quality of education in the Lango Sub-region and Northern Uganda at large, with an initial enrollment of 325 students this year. He reassured parents that school fees would remain affordable, even as student numbers increase, to ensure accessibility for all families.

Atim Alice, a parent from Gulu, endorsed the school with a powerful message to fellow parents, praising the high quality of education and the school’s commitment to achieving excellent academic results. Her endorsement served as a strong testament to the school’s positive impact on students and their families.
