Abola Francis, the Otuke LCV Chairman, crossed over to the NRM Party on Tuesday from Baralegi State Lodge, Okwang Sub County, Otuke District, during a meeting arranged by President Yoweri Museveni for leaders from different categories in the Lango sub-region.
Meanwhile, Abola Francis appeared in a yellow attire (a yellow shirt and partly yellow trousers) at another function, the commissioning of the Otuke Community facility, on Thursday, May 18, 2023, two days after declaring his intention to join NRM.
He was welcomed by H.E. Yoweri Museveni, the National Chairman of the NRM, along with other invited NRM chairpersons and historicals.
A member of the UPC, who preferred not to be named in this publication, said that Abola is simply hiding behind the NRM because he knows that in 2026, he will not receive many votes in Otuke District.
The community will not vote for him again because he has failed to perform or deliver as expected by the locals.
