In the 21st century, feminism is used as an unction to induce financial liberation. The following programs are being executed by President Museveni to advance the greatness of women;

1) Grow Project

If you are a woman tycoon established in the private sector in need of additional financing, you can access a loan to a tune of 500 million shillings from a certified bank by the government. If you are a lady still in small to medium business, a soft loan from 2 million shillings and above can be accessed from a verified banking institution by government

2) UWEP fund( Uganda women empowerment program)

This is dedicated to women with a passion for skills proficiency. Through districts, cities, and municipalities, you are first equipped with financial literacy and business management ideas. You will then form a group and access capital between 5 – 7 million shillings. In repaying back the funds, this program is totally interest-free.

3) Emyooga funding

This program leverages majorly women entrepreneurs at constituency levels in cities, municipalities, and districts. If you form a women’s group, well registered as a Sacco ( savings and credit cooperative organisation), you will access 30 million shillings at the start . If your performance is rated with excellence, you will again receive 50 million shillings from the Ministry of Microfinance. The intent in this is to promote feminine wealth creation.

4) The Parish development model

As emphasized by His Excellency President Museveni, 30 per cent of money disbursed at every parish or ward in Uganda should be accorded to women. If a parish or ward gets 100 million shs a year(like it is today), 30 million must go to women. This program is dedicated to women at the grassroots, with a loving heart to dismantle rural cycle poverty

5) Conventional deployments

Museveni is mindful that so many Ugandan women are products of internationally accredited institutions like the London School of Economics, Stanford University, Makerere, Harvard, etc. In the trajectory to a 500 billion middle-class economy, Museveni is tactfully placing competent women in state entities like URSB, KCCA, IGG, tourism board, etc. This deployment program is dedicated to women academicians, with acumen and purpose, with beauty and brains to advance Uganda’s sovereign interests…….
