Alebtong, Uganda – Residents of River Kali B Cell, Teiconga Ward,in Alebtong District has been plunged into mourning following the sudden demise of Mr. Owaa John Bosco area councillor representing Teiconga Ward to Aloi Town Council.
Mr. Daniel Otim, Mayor Aloi Town Council confirmed Owaa’s sudden death saying that yesterday he got a call from LC I Chairperson of River Kali B telling him about the death of his Councillor.
Opio said the deceased was found dead in his room yesterday’s early morning but all along he has been battling with cancer even the last Council meeting Owaa didn’t attend.
He described Owaa as a very hardworking, cooperative and a person who always means his duty and his death has has left a significant void, not only for his family but also for the political and business field in Aloi Town Council as well Alebtong District.
The late Owaa was living as a widower with his two children but death has not sapred him forcing him to leave behind his two children.
Owaa was representing six Parishes with a population of 4,800 people to Town Council
Aloi Town Council will hold a Council meeting on Monday 7th April, 2025 to honor and come out with the preparation for his burial
