Lira City, Uganda – The ongoing leadership transition within the Lango Cultural Foundation has taken a significant turn as the Resident Chief State Attorney of Lira recently advised the police to close a criminal trespass case against key figures in the organization.
The case, filed by former Lango Cultural Foundation Prime Minister Ajal James Robert and others, targeted Won Tok me Lango Willy Omodo Omodo and George Angoli, who have been involved in the leadership transition process.
The decision to drop the charges brings a sense of relief and unity to the Lango Cultural Institution, which has faced internal challenges during the leadership change.
