The Dokolo District Police Commander (DPC), SP Baganzi Patience, has been transferred to Soroti Central Police Station, where she will take up a new assignment as DPC.
The transfer was confirmed by SP Okema Patrick Jimmy, the North Kyoga Regional Police spokesperson, who said the changes followed a transfer message signed by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) on September 8, 2026.
Baganzi has been serving as the DPC in Dokolo and was among senior officers affected by the latest police transfers.
Okema commended the officers for their service and contribution to policing in the region, wishing them success in their new assignments.
The reshuffle also saw ASP Mpairwe Diana Night transferred from OC Kyabigambire in Hoima to Loro Police Station as Officer in Charge (OC), while ASP Opio Robert moved from Akokoro Police Station to Iriiri Police Station in Napak District as OC.
