Kisoro – A shocking incident has rocked Kisoro District as police apprehended a 19-year-old man on allegations of raping his 60-year-old aunt over a six-hour period.

The suspect, identified as Turinayo Lawrence from Chintare Village in Nyakinama Sub County, is accused of forcing his aunt, Friday Peace Naomi, into sexual acts while threatening her.
The Kisoro District CLO, Arinitwe Boaz, confirmed the incident, which occurred on Tuesday night, and stated that Lawrence has been charged with rape and incest.
Boaz condemned the actions of the suspect, emphasizing the severity of the crime and the need for justice.
Speaking to the press, the victim, Friday Peace Naomi, expressed her horror and condemnation of her nephew’s alleged actions.
She recounted the traumatic experience, urging authorities to ensure justice is served.
Turinayo Lawrence, the suspect, has attributed his behavior to the influence of alcohol but maintains his innocence in the face of the allegations.
