Lira City, July 29, 2024 – In a move that is set to revolutionize sports development in Lira City, Assistant Resident City Commissioner Bonny Otucu met with the tycondo and kickboxing team at the former Akii Bua stadium. The meeting, which was attended by players from various locations within Lira, including Town College, marked a significant milestone in the city’s efforts to promote sports and community engagement.

The players, in turn, pledged their support for President Museveni and Woman MP Hon. Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng Ocero’s re-election in 2026.
