The 21st century innovation industry, thanks to America’s Silcon Valley and the Asian Conglomerates, is worth 1.6 trillion US dollars. If Uganda is to progress very fast, the PLU government will have to financially leverage young people who are innovators in mechanics, aviation, ICT, fashion and design, etc.
This can be done at a cosmopolitan angle, where all cities and districts have electronic registers with names of scientific innovators in their jurisdiction. For transparency, the technical identification of these inventors can be supervised by UPDF soldiers. Precisely, in advancing national growth, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba (MK) and the PLU should prioritize the scientific innovation industry .
In the trajectory of agricultural financing, Gen. MK and his PLU should consider reviving the cooperative movement. In this context, it’s a farmer’s fraternity, legally registered, with orientation to massive production and processing. The essence in this could look at it rejuvenating legitimate enterprises like Lango Farmers Cooperative, Babyankore Kweterana Producers, East Acholi Cooperative, Teso Cultural Cooperative Society, West Mengo Growers Union, etc.
The well celebrated agricultural success of China earning 1.9 trillion dollars from agriculture, India getting 573 billion dollars from agriculture, holds a fundamental tenet of governments exercising technical capacity building for farmers through the cooperative large scale markets.
We do estimate Uganda’s nominal gross domestic product to be 252 trillion shillings, thanks to President Museveni’s advancement of the manufacturing and real estate sector in the country. In mitigation of the population trends, which harness social growth, Gen. MK’s PLU can consider free health insurance to all Ugandan mothers with health complications in the sphere of obstetrics and gynaecology. This could aid giving birth to a vivacious, productive, and prosperous populace…….
