Olobo Odur Duly Nominated, Vows to Deliver Just and Accountable Leadership in Apac

Kampala, Uganda | Anthony Olobo Odur, son of Muzee Yosam Odur Ebii, has officially been nominated to contest for the position of LCV Chairperson for Apac District under the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party primaries.

Speaking to our reporter on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, Olobo Odur said his leadership bid is not just a list of promises but a solemn covenant between him and the people of Apac.

He emphasized a vision of a peaceful, united, and self-reliant Apac District where every citizen enjoys equal opportunity, justice, and sustainable development.

Olobo pledged to steer the district through transparent, inclusive, and accountable leadership rooted in human rights, the rule of law, and community-driven development.

His entry into the race is expected to shape the political landscape of Apac as the 2026 general elections draw closer.
