Butaleja, Uganda – President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni concluded the second day of his wealth creation tour in the Bukedi subregion, reaffirming his commitment to eradicating poverty through knowledge sharing and collaborative efforts.
During the tour, ministers from various government departments provided updates on significant achievements.
Notable progress included improvements in the health sector, such as well-stocked health centers and upgraded community hospitals, and an impressive increase in student enrollment within the education sector.
Emphasizing the efficacy of the Parish Development Model (PDM), President Museveni encouraged local leaders to guide their communities in making informed crop choices to combat hunger and maximize profits.
Drawing attention to the profitability of fish farming, he urged farmers to explore alternative methods to boost their income.
Reinforcing his dedication to the cause, Museveni pledged to allocate additional funding to the PDM and announced that farmers would receive coffee seedlings through local Members of Parliament.
The wealth creation tour in Bukedi region concluded and President Museveni is set to address a rally in Pallisa, where he is expected to further expound on his vision for prosperity and progress.
