Lira, Uganda – All Saints University Lango (ASUL) is set to hold its 11th graduation ceremony on February 21, 2025, with various university officials calling on graduates, parents and stakeholders to be part of the celebrations.
Professor Andrew Anthony Chula, the Vice-Chancellor of ASUL, has extended an invitation to parents, relatives and prospective students, encouraging them to attend the event as the university continues its mission of academic excellence.
He urged those planning to join the institution to prepare themselves and take advantage of the opportunities available.
Robert Pius Okello, the Acting Academic Registrar, highlighted that the graduation activities will commence with a commissioning service on February 20, 2025.
He urged graduates and stakeholders from Lira City, Lira District and the greater Lango Sub-region to turn up in large numbers, emphasizing that this graduation will also showcase the university’s new campus.
Meanwhile, Mr. Kisa Denish, the University Secretary, emphasized that preparations are in place for a smooth event.
He called upon government officials, business leaders and the general public to witness this milestone.
He also noted that during the commissioning service on February 20 at 2 p.m., transcripts and other graduation-related documents will be issued to graduates ahead of the main ceremony on the 21st.
This graduation event is expected to be historic, marking the first of its kind at the university’s new campus.
Officials at ASUL have expressed confidence that it will be a landmark celebration for both graduates and the institution as a whole.
