Amolatar, Uganda – In a refreshing turn for Amolatar’s political landscape, Felix Adupa Ongwech, a Kioga County constituency aspirant on the National Resistance Movement ticket, has emerged as a beacon of change for the 2026 general elections.
Emphasizing his commitment to ‘Putting People First,’ Adupa aims to redefine the county’s development through effective representation and a focus on youth empowerment.
Adupa, a proud native of Odyak parish in Muntu Sub county, sat down with the Dokolo Post reporter for an exclusive interview, expressing gratitude for his supporters’ encouragement and dedication.
He highlighted his intention to work closely with the government, ensuring a harmonious relationship between the executive and legislative branches.
Praising President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s efforts in managing security challenges, reconstruction, resettlement, and infrastructural development, Adupa outlined his priorities: reducing crime, ensuring human and capital development, and fostering youth empowerment.
He envisions Kioga Constituency as a shining example of progress for Lango and the rest of the nation.
By holding quarterly consultative meetings, Adupa intends to address community needs and drive positive action.
He underscored his commitment to providing quality representation that has been missing in the constituency, focusing on educational scholarships, agricultural interventions, sports, and health issues.
Adupa confidently stated, “If elected, Kioga County will experience a transformative shift. My youthful energy and fresh ideas will bring tangible improvements for everyone. This won’t be politics as usual; I assure you.”
