Hoima City, Uganda – In a historic display of inter-tribal solidarity and cultural appreciation, Eng. Dr. Moses Michael Odongo Okune, the Paramount Chief Elect of Lango, delivered a powerful message of unity and cultural progress at the 30-year anniversary celebrations of Bunyoro Kingdom’s cultural leader, Solomon Gafabusa. The event, held in the ancient city of Hoima, marked three decades of Gafabusa’s reign and drew leaders and dignitaries from across the region.

He urged his people to remain committed to their pursuit of unity, emphasizing that only through collective effort and mutual respect can the Lango Cultural leadership achieve strength and prosperity.

Despite the current lack of a palace, Odongo Okune remained optimistic about the future. He shared his vision of constructing a Lango Palace that would not only serve as a cultural centre but also as a beacon of unity and progress for future generations.
