Health Minister Hon. Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng Ocero, representing her dual role as Woman MP Lira City, delivered a powerful message to over 1,600 women during the closing ceremony of the Lira Urban Mother’s Union Convention 2024.
In her address, Dr. Aceng highlighted the important role of mothers in society and encouraged them to take charge of their health through regular screenings for common cancers. In addition, she urged the mothers to mobilize and empower other women to join their noble movement.
