In a landmark event, Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Nabbanja Robinah graced the homecoming and thanksgiving ceremony of Dr. Kenneth Omona, State Minister for Northern Uganda, marks a new chapter in the region’s journey towards reconciliation and progress.



With a strong message of unity and commitment, PM Nabbanja reiterated President Museveni’s pledge to address the historical injustices that have plagued Northern Uganda for decades. The Premier commended Dr. Omona’s efforts in laying the foundation for effective service delivery and team spirit among the region’s leaders.

The event, held in Gulu, brought together a high-powered delegation, including Chief Justice Owiny Dollo, Acholi Paramount Chief Rwot Onen Achana II, GCW Hamson Obua, Education State Minister Peter Ogwang, and Area MPs. The government’s commitment to affirmative action programs, such as NUSAF 1, 2, and 3, DINU, EU, PRDIP, NUDP, and the upcoming NUSAF 4, was reaffirmed. These initiatives aim to revitalize the region’s economy, infrastructure, and social services.
