Lira City, Uganda – During a recent event at the former Adyel Division Headquarters, Minister Jane Ruth Aceng reaffirmed her dedication to the people by fulfilling promises made during her 2021 campaign.

Aceng applauded the various local groups that have effectively utilized her previous donations, resulting in notable growth and success.
Today, she announced that a total of 74,500,000 Ugandan shillings (UGX) would be donated to support different groups in the area, with each group receiving 500,000 UGX.
Aceng emphasized the importance of investing these funds in developmental projects that would generate future income and reduce poverty.

While critics may question her efforts, Aceng maintained that the health and well-being of citizens are her top priorities.
She believes that investments in the health sector will improve healthcare facilities and reduce the need to refer patients to distant hospitals, such as Mulago Referral Hospital.
Aceng urged the people to appreciate these developments and cultivate a supportive environment.
To promote unity and progress, Minister Aceng called for the practice of constructive politics, emphasizing love and avoiding divisive and abusive language.
She remains committed to using her lobbying capacity to secure more resources for the region and encourages residents to support her efforts to bring development to the area.
As a testament to the positive impact of Aceng’s donations, Etap Ruth shared the success story of her group, which received 500,000 UGX and established a thriving poultry farm.

They have saved 2,500,000 UGX in just one year and are projecting a tenfold increase in savings.
Staunch NRM supporter Jack Bill Okello publicly declared his support for Minister Jane Ruth Aceng, highlighting her bold vision and success in bringing essential health services closer to the community.

He encouraged other residents to do the same and disregard any attempts to hinder the region’s progress.
In addition to the financial support, Minister Aceng also distributed Mama Kits to pregnant women, ensuring they have access to essential resources for safe childbirth.
